FRUITS AND VEGETABLES TO PREVENT COGNITIVE DECLINE

Once again, your mother's directive to eat your vegetables is proven to be good advice!  Studies have shown that eating vegetables improves blood flow and feeds the brain.  Studies of persons age 65 and up found those who eat at least 3 servings of fruits and vegetables a day showed a 40% less decline on cognitive tests than their counterparts who ate less fruits and vegetables.
