PINEAPPLE FOR VITAMIN C

The other day when I posted a list of vitamin C foods, I noticed I left off pineapple.  So, today's post will feature pineapple by itself.  Pineapple is an excellent source of vitamin C so what a tasty way to take in this vital vitamin! According to NutritionFacts.com, 1 cup of pineapple chunks will supply 131% of your daily need of vitamin C.

Not only is pineapple a great source of vitamin C, but it is also great for your diet as it is low in salt, cholesterol, and fat!  Better start adding pineapple to your list of healthy vitamin C rich foods!
