Osteoporosis is sometimes referred to as "the silent disease" because many times it is only discovered after a person suffers a broken bone. - low-fat dairy products
- dark leafy greens
- salmon
- oats
- tofu

In addition, walk and do other weight-bearing exercises. This will help to prevent falls and fractures.
